Boudoir comes from French and means “powder room,” and it was once the room where ladies would get ready and powder themselves. Nowadays, boudoir photography can have many styles and suggest very different images. For us, it is synonymous with sensual and elegant images that reveal the beauty of a woman.
It is the art of photographing the body and personality by showcasing the most feminine side, creating images in which a woman can see her beauty reflected, while also offering her a fun, refreshing, and sexy experience.
Boudoir photography is about baring the soul without undressing the body.
Boudoir does NOT mean undressing in front of the camera. The play of seduction, imagination, and suggestion gives strength to the photography. It is essential that there is an honest and pure focus on the person we are photographing. This style is not to please men, but the woman in front of the lens.
